蘇迪勒颱風夾帶的強風暴雨，除了造成台灣多處土石坍方、道路中斷外，尖石鄉高冷有機蔬果產區災情更是慘重，其中以生產高冷蔬果為主的尖石鄉玉峰村，由於位在迎風面，強風肆虐下，高冷蔬果損失達9成，辛苦種植的蔬果還沒採收就被颱風破壞殆盡，農民苦不堪言。

新竹縣橫山地區農會總幹事邱宏鎮表示，尖石鄉內生產高冷蔬果的有機產區主要在玉峰、鎮西堡，面積約上百公頃，海拔高度約在1400公尺以上，以高麗菜、小黃瓜、敏豆、青椒等作物為主，但颱風帶來的強風不僅吹毀棚架，更將作物連根拔起，目前初步評估有機產區損失至少有2000萬元。

邱宏鎮說，有機產區生產的高冷蔬果大多有固定的合作商家，像是主婦聯盟等單位，但因這次農損嚴重，不要說供不應求，連出貨都會有困難。

除了有機高冷蔬果部分損失嚴重，其他農作物也有近4成的損失，柿子也受到強風影響，落果約有1成半，橫山地區農會初估，農損合計約有3000萬元左右。
